Street Style

My journey to Ryerson and Toronto in particular is coming to an end.
One of the most immediate observations for me, being a fashion student and all, is obviously the street style.
Here's a couple of snap shots of some cool people that allowed me to put their faces on the internet.
You might even recognize one or two trendy folks in the bunch.

On a finale note, I would like to thank all of you for welcoming me to Ryerson. It has been a fantastic experience, and I've learned a lot! If any of you guys ever plan on going on exchange to Denmark/Copenhagen, don't hesitate to look me up.

Take care, and see you around - hopefully!

Outtakes

A couple of photos from the last studio photo shoot assignment, I did with Anne.
We were lucky to have a lot of good images to choose from, and it was rather tough selecting the finale images. These amongst others got cut because of details, that were just not quite right, once we got them all up on a computer screen.
You all know how it is...

(The black and white one, however, almost got in by an inch! We love that one :)

BLOG CELEBRITY

I went to New York for reading week last month. And I would like to say that I hung out with these two cool ladies, but (un)fortunately, I just got lucky on an ice cold afternoon in the sunset walking over the Brooklyn Bridge.

If you don't know these fashion bloggers, you can check out their styles here: www.fellt.com

I hope you all like it.

The Wearable Art Show

***

Fashion is not art they said.

We all know that person…
I would have just loved to see them seated at this week’s Wearable Art Show, where garments were pretty unconventional to their standards.

The show was held last Tuesday at the Gladstone Hotel and I had a wonderful time! I very much enjoyed admiring all the garments my friends and colleagues worked hard on over the last few months and I thought I’d share with you some of the shots I managed to take.
I even doubt my images do some of their garments justice, but we’ll have to thank the dodgy lighting for that.

Perhaps you guys could even give me suggestions on how to fix my little mistakes the next time around!

Behind the Scenes

A few weeks back after Toronto's first major snow fall, I was more than thrilled to conduct an outdoor photo shoot.  Featuring some of Ryerson's Design Student's garments, I styled the shoot while my friend Jessica took on the role of the photographer.  Of course, while standing on the sidelines, examining the shoot, I couldn't help but take a few behind the scenes photos myself.  And what fun it was! Besides, look at the stunning models, perhaps there's one in which you might recognize...

If you'd like to see the final results from the shoot, check them all out here:
