New York, New York

Hello, it's Sam. So as many of you know via social networking and the inter webs, the other Sam (Heichert) and I went to New York for Reading Week. Here are a few pictures of what we did.

ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/25 F Stop: 1.8
First off, what kind of fashion students would we be if we didn't take street style photos of ourselves. Priorities, people. This is a picture I took of Sam Heichert outside of the Macy's. She was working it with her 3.1 Philip Lim coat. You go girl.

This second photo was taken at the MoMA. I have no idea who the artist of this chair thing was because I was distracted by an adjacent piece of artwork depicting a human giving another human a blow job. I don't know if I can say that or not but hey, it was art so...

Here is another picture I took at the MoMA. Typically you're trying to take a picture of like... a Kandinsky or something and some obnoxious stranger walks right into your shot, that's usually how it goes BUT THIS TIME, a nice looking fellow walked by and I thought to myself, "hey, what a great looking pedestrian" so I just went with the flow, ya know.

Sam and I also went to the Museum of Art and Design where they had an exhibition entitled, "Playing with Fire: 50 Years of Contemporary Glass". I really liked the look of this piece of art.

Here is one final photo taken at the MAD Museum of the same exhibition. I think this was my best photo of my whole trip, but I suppose that's up to Sarah to decide.
Sam.

  1. Great photos, looks like fun, but only 1 can be considered a 'fashion' shot... Please re-shoot and re-post to get marks; this was not counted towards your 3 posts.
