DIY: Clutch Tutorial

Here's a super easy 5-step DIY leather fold over clutch tutorial. Unfolded, it can also be used as a laptop protector. You can customize your clutches by choosing your own sizes and fabric/zipper colours.
Materials:

-leather/faux leather
-zipper
-ruler
-fabric scissors
-pins
-sewing machine

F-Stop 4.0, Shutter 1/6, ISO  400
Step 1: Cut 2 pieces of leather in the same size. (The size is up to you, here they are both 11"x15")

Step 2:  With right sides together, sew the zipper to one of the leather pieces. Using your zipper foot on your machine will make this easier.

Step 3: This is the trickiest part- take your second leather piece and do the exact same this you did in step 2, but on the other side of the zipper. Make sure right sides are together!

Step 4: Pin the two leather pieces along the three other edges. Open the zipper and sew along those three sides. (Here, the zipper is on the right side of the image)

Step 5: Once sewn, clip the bottom corners to reduce bulk and turn the clutch inside out. Poke all four corners, fold over and voila!
