Fashion is not art they said.
We all know that person…
I would have just loved
to see them seated at this week’s Wearable Art Show, where garments were pretty
unconventional to their standards.
The show was held last Tuesday at the Gladstone
Hotel and I had a wonderful time! I very much enjoyed admiring all the garments
my friends and colleagues worked hard on over the last few months and I thought I’d
share with you some of the shots I managed to take.
I even doubt my images do some
of their garments justice, but we’ll have to thank the dodgy lighting for that.
Perhaps you guys could even give me suggestions
on how to fix my little mistakes the next time around!

This is Michelle Serdan by the way, I know there's another Michelle so I should have clarified :P
ReplyDeletehaha no problem Michelle, I got it. Thanks for clarifying.
ReplyDeleteThese shots would have turned out better for you with a faster shutter, it would have reduced the amount of light coming in (solving your over-exposure issue) and it would have stopped the blurred bodies from happening. For runway I usually stay with shutter speeds over 1/100th of a second at least, sometimes faster depending on the speed of the walk and how flowy the garments are unless I'm going for a blurred effect.
