Volunteering and giving back is important to me, and I know
it is sometimes hard to find time as a student, but reading week was the
perfect opportunity. So after heading
home to Carleton Place Ontario, I was able to volunteer TWICE for my favorite
charity the Lanark Country Interval House. They are currently working on a
jewellery auction where jewellery makers from across Canada submitted their
pieces to be auctioned off online with all the proceeds going to LCIH. I was
able to help by taking pictures of the jewelry for their website. Here are a
few of my favorites!
